What’s a Session Like?

Every moment is alive and evolving. Therefore, there is no set format for psychotherapy or the healing process. I work together with you to understand what is important to you, to design your alliance and offer tools to bring attention to who you are being and how you experience that in your body.

PRESENCE

I may guide you to tune into your body's sensations or impulses, your thoughts or meanings you hold. Your body may reveal connections to earlier childhood or family/ancestral dynamics, or beliefs that we can process in an embodied way.

We may explore your inner beliefs, how you relate to others, how you relate to yourself and parts of yourself, how you eat and what you can eat to balance your body, your dreams and daydreams, and how you carry your body.

Who you are at this moment is just one way of being.

A PRACTICE OF LOVE

I offer practices for Self-love, tuning inward, developing your capacity to feel through your experience and self-regulate, allying with your body and its messages, cultivating inner resources and strength, and meditations designed for your body, visualization, embracing your true expression, to release trauma + intergenerational trauma, and restore and reclaim love, strength + energy from tensions and dis-ease in the body.

DESIGN YOUR PROCESS

We will design how your healing process will work best for you. This includes co-creating how we might interact with each other and discussing what would helpful. Our relationship can be a mirror for your outside relationships and can be a tool for healing. The space that we hold together is safe for exploring new ways of being, healing old patterns + trauma, and learning tools that enhance your body's innate healing capacities.
